What a wet day. Full rain gear including pannier covers. Almost 6000 feet of climbing. Jason from the Pheasant Inn in St Newlyn East has great beer, good food and kindly made a donation to our charity. Lovely wooded valleys but that meant descents and climbs. Great guesthouse at Tregolls very helpful owners. Finally drying out.

The wonderful lady at the B&B not only cooked us a splendid meal but washed all our rather wet & dirty kit too :-))
Superb! Thank you!

Full summary - wet. Just the one shower, all day :-(

Good ride despite weather - cute lambs at the farm we're staying.

Dawn breaks and from the hotel window I can trainspot. For all you spotters out there, it's ok you can admit it now, there were five class 66s on the journey down: a double-header pair "running light" being the highlight!
Today into the routine of living out of panniers recommences. Off to Penzance this morning then eleven or so miles of cycling to Land's End. I need the miles to burn off some of the calories from last night's bread and butter pudding.
