It's on Shap Fell where the M6 divides at the top of a quarry ... and a road runs between the carriageways.
RegE & brother Roger got the answer correct but Roger had the slight edge by supplying the name of it - Scout Road.

Somehow managed to forget to upload today's route to the gps device. However, reverted to Rob's trusty map reading.

Past triffid like rows of giant hogweed unfurling their umbrels alongside the banks of the Clyde as we meandered our way into Glasgow.

Caught up the twenty year old cyclists again, this time with mended spokes.
